Ring Gauge Size
If you are going to be
using your own cigars, you must provide us with the
ring gauge size or
circumference of your cigars (or tube, if you wish to
apply the bands to a cigar tube instead of the actual
cigar).
To measure the
circumference if you do not know the
ring gauge size, take a small strip of paper, wrap it
around the cigar, then mark at the overlap point. Flatten
the strip back out and measure the distance you have marked
off. Please don't add any extra for an overlap - we always
add 1/4" to the length for that purpose. Just send the measurement along to us.
Simple!
The samples shown on our cigar band pages are
designed for larger-sized cigars (ring gauge size of 50 and
above). We may have to adjust the layout & text size for
your bands if you are using a smaller-sized cigar,
especially under a ring gauge size of 42. |
